Santa’s Clothes

Everything was in an uproar at the North Pole on Christmas Eve day. Every year Mrs. Claus helped Santa get dressed for his special trip around the world delivering presents. But this year Mrs. Claus had a (ah-ah-ah-choo!) cold. So Santa had just the elves to help him. (put up Santa)
“Let’s see,” said Santa. “I can’t go in my underwear so first I need something to wear on my legs. I need a pair of …pants.”
Santa looked here. Santa looked there.
But
he could not find his pants anywhere.
“How about these?” asked an elf.
(put jeans on Santa)
“Ho, ho, ho,” said Santa, “those won’t do!”
“Well, how about these?” asked another elf.
(put shorts on Santa)
“Ho, ho, ho,” said Santa, “those won’t do!”
Santa went to the bedroom door and called:
Mrs.
Claus, I know you’re sick,
But
tell me where my pants are,
Quick, quick, quick!”
“Ah-ah-ah-choo!”
said Mrs. Claus. “Your pants are
in the guest room dresser.”
Santa
found the pants and put them on. (put
red pants on Santa)
“Let’s see,” said Santa. ‘Next I need something to wear over my undershirt. I need a …coat.”
Santa looked here. Santa looked there.
But
he could not find his pants anywhere.
“How
about this?” asked an elf. (put
tank top on Santa)
“Ho, ho, ho,” said Santa, “that won’t do!”
“Well, how about this?” asked another elf.
(put Hawaiian shirt on Santa)
“Ho, ho, ho,” said Santa, “that won’t do!”
Santa went to the bedroom door and called:
Mrs.
Claus, I know you’re sick,
But
tell me where my pants are,
Quick, quick, quick!”
“Ah-ah-ah-choo!”
said Mrs. Claus. “Your coat is in
the attic.”
Santa
found the coat and put it on. (put
coat on Santa)
“Let’s see,” said Santa. “Now I need something to wear on my feet. I need some …boots.”
Santa looked here. Santa looked there.
But
he could not find his pants anywhere.
“How about these?” asked an elf.
(put elf shoes on Santa)
“Ho, ho, ho,” said Santa, “those won’t do!”
“Well, how about these?” asked another elf.
(put high heels on Santa)
“Ho, ho, ho,” said Santa, “those won’t do!”
Santa went to the bedroom door and called:
Mrs.
Claus, I know you’re sick,
But
tell me where my pants are,
Quick,
quick, quick!”
“Ah-ah-ah-choo!”
said Mrs. Claus. “Your boots are
in the basement.”
Santa
found the boots and put them on. (put
boots on Santa)
“Let’s see,” said Santa. “Last I need something to wear on my head. I need a …hat.”
Santa looked here. Santa looked there.
But he could not find his pants anywhere.
“How about this?” asked an elf.
(put top hat on Santa)
“Ho, ho, ho,” said Santa, “that won’t do!”
“Well, how about this?” asked another elf. (put cowboy hat on Santa)
“Ho, ho, ho,” said Santa, “that won’t do!”
Santa went to the bedroom door and called:
Mrs.
Claus, I know you’re sick,
But
tell me where my pants are,
Quick, quick, quick!”
“Ah-ah-ah-choo!”
said Mrs. Claus. “Your hat is on
the hat rack.”
Santa
found the hat and put it on. (put
red hat on Santa)
Santa
went to the bedroom door and called, “I’m ready to get the toys and go.”
“You
forgot your mittens,” said Mrs. Claus. “They’re
in the front closet.”
Santa got his mittens and came back to the bedroom door.
“Ah-ah-ah-choo!”
said Mrs. Claus. “Now you are
ready to get the presents and go.”
“Except for one thing,” said Santa.
“I need my good luck kiss. Do
you know where I can find it?”
“Here,” said Mrs. Claus and she blew Santa a kiss.
